To whom it may concern.I first contacted Russell tennent two years ago for advice and options to refit our Waiheke home with new double glazed joinery.
It was a challenging brief as the house was a 1990s house on a steep site.

Russell specified high quality joinery and took on the fitting of the joinery himself.
He showed a high level of expertise in the removal of existing cedar trims and modifying them to fit the new joinery.
We also required custom designs to complete the bathroom windows which were framed with mirrors.

Additionally, insect screening was provided on most of the large sliders.
The quality of the job was top class, workmanship and materials were of a very high standard.

Russell was very good with communication throughout the project and we were very happy with the final result.

We had Russell Tennent recently retrofit double-glazing on our Waiheke Property. Russell organised all aspects of the project and it was completed on time and on budget. We are thrilled with the result and are now enjoying a warm, quiet house with improved views. As we were not on site during the process, we really valued Russell’s regular communication through emails and over the phone. Russell is a thoughtful tradesman who noticed a few other maintenance issues about our place and alerted us to those. The work we had done has increased the value of our home. We would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Russell did an excellent job retrofitting our house with double glazing. All the measurements were correct, all fitted perfectly so now we have a warmer, quieter, drier home.

We can highly recommend BDG to anyone living on Waiheke Island. Over the past few years at various times, Russell and his team have carried out repairs to/replacement of locks and have installed new insect screens for us. Earlier this year BDG installed retrofit double glazing to the colder lower level of our home, and we have noticed the difference it has made – the lower level of the house is noticeably warmer.

Russel from Bubble Double Glazing has undertaken several retrofit projects at our Matiatia Bay Property with very satisfactory results. Russel can offer imaginative design solutions undertaken with utmost professionalism and care. The entire 500sqm house has been retrofitted in a number of stages which has provided an increased level of comfort both in summer and winter. The original wooden louvres in exterior walls have been replaced with colour matched aluminium louvers which has eliminated the cold drafts in winter. Overall I can not recommend Bubble Double Glazing more highly.

Russell from Bubble Double Glazing did an amazing job at our place. He gave great advice on section of windows and what we could and couldn’t do. The double glazing has made the house cosy and created a new modern look. I’d highly recommend Russell and his workmanship.
